‘doodle to make a difference’

SIDS and Kids NSW thanks all our doodlers for their support of ‘doodle to make a difference’ held during November 2004.
Doodle Headquarters received drawings from all over New South Wales with overwhelming support received from schools, child care centres, businesses and the community.
The standard of entries received was high making it difficult to select final winners. Here we feature some of our winning entries.

Bequests
Leave a lasting legacy to SIDS and Kids NSW by considering a bequest.
WHY MAKE A BEQUEST?
SIDS and Kids NSW provides bereavement support for individuals and families who experience the loss of their baby or child during pregnancy, birth and infancy. This includes miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, sudden infant death (SIDS) and the death of a child up to 6 years of age.
Our services include one to one parent support, bereavement support groups throughout NSW, Connections Newsletters, awareness literature, community and professional education campaigns and a 24 hr Bereavement Support Line 1800 651 186.
These vital services are provided to those in need throughout the New South Wales community and are available 24 hours a day.
HOW TO INCLUDE A GIFT IN YOUR WILL
SIDS and Kids NSW suggest the following wording:-
Option 1:
"I _______________ give and bequeath to the Sudden Infant Death Association NSW, a registered charity (ABN 33 357 619 234) the sum of $_______. Which I direct to be paid to the Association (with the official receipt of the Association to be sufficient receipt therefore) to be applied for the purposes of the Association in such manner as the Directors may determine."
Option 2:
"I ______________give and bequeath to the Sudden Infant Death Association NSW, a registered charity (ABN 33 357 619 234) my property at (insert address)(or my shares, debentures, etc and describe them, eg BHP shares) (with the official receipt of the Association to be sufficient receipt therefore) to be applied for the Purposes of the Association in such manner as the Directors may determine."
Option 3:
"I ________________ give and bequeath to the Sudden Infant Death Association NSW, a registered charity (ABN 33 357 619 234) the whole (or a specified percentage; or the residual) of my estate of whatsoever nature or kind and wheresoever situated (with the official receipt of the Association to be sufficient receipt therefore) to be applied for the purposes of the Association in such manner as the Directors may determine."
