About SIDS and Kids Research and Programs UnitResearch, Health Promotion and the development of Bereavement Resources are coordinated on a National level by SIDS and Kids Research and Programs Unit. The Unit is also responsible for the SIDS and Kids Safe Sleeping program. Another role of the Unit is advocating for and developing effective partnerships with Government and other peak organisations. The Research and Programs Unit, based mostly in Canberra, is supported by SIDS and Kids National Scientific Advisory Group.
